Serenity Tea: A Gentle and Relaxing Cleanse

Our special blend, Serenity tea has extraordinary flavors, is gentle for any time; morning, mid-day, or evening before bed.

This tea is caffeine and gluten-free, vegan, and all-natural ingredients.

Serenity’s herbal blend includes fennel seeds, ginger root, star anise, and senna leaf. It is very soothing for digestive issues and helps to cleanse toxins from the gut with gentle action.

This blend has similar detox and cleansing qualities as the ‘Master cleanse’, or lemonade diet. Our tea has special herbs that detox and help cleanse the colon of unwanted build-up; in a mild and gentle way.

It helps release some of the stored chemical toxins in our gut; making us feel so much better, less of a stuffy, full feeling.

Benefits of Serenity Herbal Tea

  • Fennel seeds are highly aromatic, like anise in flavor, they supply dietary fiber and are low in carbs, only 0.7 grams, and are excellent for digestion.

They prevent constipation, bloating, diverticulitis, heartburn, and gas. Fennel seeds are high in minerals, like calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorous, and zinc. The seeds promote bone and cardiovascular health.

It can also be used for respiratory problems like coughing or bronchitis. Also good for improving eye vision.

  • Ginger root reduces muscle pain and soreness, helping to lower inflammation caused after working out. Great after gardening, a physical job, or any exercise. It may help decrease blood sugar.

It is good for digestion also, especially for nausea associated with seasickness or morning sickness during pregnancy. Ginger is good for stomach ulcers caused by high inflammation. It helps supports normal blood sugar levels.

Ginger assists with brain function by decreasing inflammation in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s.

  • Star anise is a fruit from the Chinese evergreen tree, its taste is similar to licorice. It has an impressive source of antioxidants, like flavonoids and polyphenols.

Star anise tempers digestive discomforts and is great to use to settle upset tummy after a large meal. Its properties are very valuable as an anti-viral and is actually an ingredient in Tamiflu.

Star anise is also a potent anti-fungal and anti-bacterial fighter.

  • Senna leaf is a laxative, helping those with constipation. Our amounts are very small and as a tea relaxes and soothes the muscle walls of intestines. It helps by promoting healthy regularity and getting peristaltic movement to move from the intestines through to the colon.

When you brew with Senna, do not over brew since a stronger taste and action may cause some cramping. This is why we use small amounts and recommend a 3-6-minute brew.

Our herbal mix with our great tasting fennel seed, ginger, and Star anise soothes the stomach and still performs a gentle cleanse.

I recommend trying our Serenity tea to help you relax and help your gut find relief from any stuffy, abdominal distress from overeating or bothersome foods.
